Bravenet HTML Editor Tutorial - 1

Illustrated steps to find and open a file in the Text Editor on your free Bravenet web site.

Go to the Bravenet homepage at http://bravenet.com/ and log in with your Bravenet username and password - you did make a note of them, didn't you?

When you log in you arrive at your Account Overview page.

Click on the "Websites" tab. This takes you to your Website Manager - click on the link of the website you wish to manage -

This takes you to the next part of the Website Manager -

Click on the link - text/visual editor.

This takes you to the Webpage Editor.

Make sure you are on the text editor - NOT the visual editor.

Your site files are listed on the left side. To open an existing file for editing, right click on the file and choose "Edit File with Text Editor" from the context menu.

This will open your file in the right side pane ready to edit.

When you have made your changes you need to Save the file - click on the Save icon at the top left of the Editor window.

To create a new file click on the first icon -

To save an existing file as a copy with a new file name click on the 3rd icon to Save As -
